Meca Racking Solutions were recently engaged by Gunns Timber to review their warehouse storage system of their varied length product for their major customer, (Bunnings) and provide a versatile system that could be used for multiple sites during their expansion program.

The solution to Gunns situation was a cantilever racking picking system module that enabled the business to store varied lengths of material – from timber to board and flat materials. 

Gunns have recently applied this warehouse system to their premises in Melbourne but will soon be replicating the set up in their Perth and other locations.  The initial installation was completed earlier this year by Meca and has since given optimal productivity improvement to the business.
